Upcoming Zoom Meeting with All Biz Network: Thursday, June 25, 2020

Mark your calendar for the All Biz Network Zoom meeting  on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm EST.  Our guest speakers will be:  Galen Krebs, Regional Manager and Public Adjuster with Metro Public Adjustment, Inc; Judi Wroe, Independent Business Owner with ACN, Inc, and Michael B. Platte, Owner of Platte Insurance Education.

Galen Krebs, Regional Manager and Public Adjuster with Metro Public Adjustment, Inc.
Galen Krebs is a retired firefighter and paramedic having served 31 years in the fire service, five years in the U.S. Navy, and one year in the Army National Guard.  Now, after ten years with Metro Public Adjustment, Inc, he works as a regional manager and public insurance adjuster advocating for property owners who have a claim.  In 2002, Galen and his wife came home from a week-long vacation to find a water loss amounting to $35,000; however, his insurance company only paid $9,800!  When Galen found out about Metro Public Adjusting, he got licensed and now goes after every insurance company to be sure people get treated fairly.

Judi Wroe, Independent Business Owner with ACN, Inc.
Judi Wroe engages in direct sales of essential services for home and business through her company, ACN, Inc.  She works to give consumers more choices for the essential services they are using anyway such as telecommunications and energy.  Judi and her husband Phil specialize in security and automation residential services and well as identity theft protection.  Judi will be giving an educational presentation on identity theft – what it is, how it’s done, and tips to protect yourself from becoming a victim.

Judi became a business owner with ACN, Inc. almost five years ago.  Prior to that she spent over 30 years as an independent in-home caregiver for seniors primarily specializing in dementia care.  Now, her goal is to use her ACN business to fund the construction of a dementia care facility that engages the residents in all sensory levels vs. the more standard approach of medication/sedation and little interaction.  She is passionate about every chance for family time (she has 2 children and 4 grandchildren) and anything related to ministry, prayer or outreach through various charitable causes.  Her fun hobbies include travel and raising a flock of 41 crazy chickens!

Virtual Meeting on Thursday May 28th

We hope this finds you all safe and well!  As you know, we weren’t able to have our regular meetings at the Elk’s Lodge in March and April, but we’re planning to meet on Thursday May 28th at 12:30 pm — in person if possible —  if not, we will have a Zoom meeting.  We hope all of you will plan to join us.  In this challenging time, we benefit more than ever from networking.  Referral business is alive and well, and we are helping and inspiring each other in new and innovative ways.

Steve Barber (Supporting Strategies) — in a virtual networking meeting yesterday — shared a great way to think about how we’re coping with the challenges for our businesses through G. R. I. T.  Growth — Resilience — Instinct — Tenacity.  This is also a great way to think about how we’re meeting the challenges of keeping our networking vigorous and meaningful.

We’ll be in touch with details about our meeting on Thursday, May 28th at 12:30 pm.

Stay safe, and call if you have any questions,

Douglas Donaldson, Sr.
